5.9% of Scott County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Scott County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 261 people out of the 9,928 living in Scott County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Scott County has increased compared to the 5.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Scott County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
