Mrs. Gray's English 12 classes are participating in a "book tasting" to select their literature circle novels for the new unit of study. Students are "tasting," or sampling, the novel options from which they can choose. Students are encouraged to read a summary, blurb, and the first page of the novel while taking notes about their possible interest in reading it. Books are grouped by a similar topic, and students are grouped so that they may discuss available book choices.
