UNIVERSITY OF THE OZARKS ATHLETICS: Men's Basketball Improves To 5-1

Four players reached double figures in scoring as the Eagles defeated Austin College 89-71 Saturday to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles held a seven-point halftime advantage and then continued to build upon that lead in the second half. A Grayson Nix three-pointer at the midway point of the second half increased the Eagles' lead to 72-56. From there, the Kangaroos never got back into the game. Nix and Josh Ukpe had 15 points, while Tim Eldridge had 13 and Tylan Jackson added 10 points.

TURNING POINTThe Eagles built a near twenty point lead at the midway point of the second half and never let Austin College back into the game after that.
