THE BASICS
The Eagles competed in the American Southwest Conference Championships Saturday in Marshall, Texas, and finished seventh overall. Under cloudy skies and wet course conditions, the 6K race saw Hardin-Simmons' Kylah Holland post a near championship record winning time of 22:31.0. Chloe Boyer was the top finisher for the Eagles. She ran a 27:29.7 for 35th place. Anastascia DeLaCruz followed with a time of 28:39.9 for 46th place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 31:48.3 for 58th place. Alisone Guzman ran a 33:18.2 for 61st place. Marcela Valladares finished 65th with a time of 36:54.5. Mileidy Espinoza was 66th overall with a time of 37:39.3 and Katlynn Moore was 67th with a time of 40:20.9.
