Our first-ever Haunted House fundraiser is in its last week! If you have time, please bring your family by and choose your favorite house(s) to vote for in our donation buckets at the front desk. The house that earns the most money for our Foundation's Weight Equipment fund will win its creators $50-- and you and all of us will have the satisfaction of contributing to a very real need for the BCC.
Did you know that most of our weight equipment was purchased secondhand when the BCC was brand new? It's far older than the BCC's 20 years, and some of it is rapidly headed toward "unrepairable" status. It's time we took advantage of design and safety improvements and provided our members with machines that will help them take care of their bodies for another few decades.
(But have you seen the cost of professional-quality weight machines that will hold up under the heavy use they get in a facility like ours? EXPENSIVE. The Foundation is trying to help the BCC's limited budget with this fun holiday fundraiser. Every donation, big or small, is a drop in the bucket that will help us get closer to machines that will work well for our community for many years.)
Good news-- if you don't have time to come visit the haunted houses in person, we've found a way to allow you to vote virtually! Visit each of the houses via photos and descriptions in these links and choose your favorite, then use your extra funds to cast a vote. All donations are tax-deductible and we are happy to issue receipts for those who request them.

the Foundation's improvement funds will be bolstered,
and eventually, the BCC's weight deck will be transformed.
