HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles surged in the second half scoring twice and recording eight shots to upend Sul Ross State 2-1 in American Southwest Conference play Saturday. Neither team found the back of the net in the first half, but the Eagles would score early in the second half to provide momentum on the road. Charleus Emmanuel Ritch scored the goal on an assist from Nathan Wagner. The Eagles continued to create chances and scored again, this time in the 79th minute. Jorensky Augustin scored the goal on an assist from Alain Claude. The Eagles held a 8-3 shots advantage in the second half. Caleb Anderson recorded four saves in the game.
