Each October, Catholics in the United States consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops assists parishes, schools and other Catholic ministries by creating resources to help people "understand, value and become engaged with supporting the God-given dignity of every person — which naturally leads to protecting the gift of every person's life" through its Respect Life Program.
