Johnson, a native of Van Meter, Iowa, served as the assistant coach at NCAA III Central College (Iowa) from 2020-2022. "I am very excited to welcome Jack into our program - his experience in recruiting, player development, and strategy at the NCAA Division III level make him a perfect fit for our program," said head coach Matt Bolton. "Jack has wasted no time developing relationships with the current players along with potential recruits for the class of 2023. His work ethic will be invaluable to our program and our student-athletes."
Prior to Central, Johnson was the assistant boys basketball coach at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School (Iowa) from 2018-2020 helping the Cardinals to a 28-12 mark.
