Mary Mother of God Church – Harrison issued the following announcement on June 26.
Due to the possibility of extremely high temperatures Saturday, our Trail Life troop has decided to move the party indoors. This Saturday, June 25 after the 5 PM Mass, our troop will host a Flag Folding Ceremony in the Parish Hall. Starting at 6:30 PM, our Trailmen will give a presentation on the meaning of folding the United States flag. Refreshments will be provided. (Menu: Hotdogs, baked beans, chips, cookies, and drinks.) We will also begin selling tickets for our Outdoorsman's Raffle. Prizes will be either a 30/30 rifle or a 2-Person Inflatable Kayak with a fishing rod and reel combo. We hope to see you there!
