University of the Ozarks Athletics issued the following announcement on May 7.
The Eagles competed three days at the American Southwest Conference Championships in Abilene, Texas over the weekend. In the women's 1500, Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 6:38.96 for fifteenth place, Marcela Valladares ran a 7:27.89 for seventeenth place and Mileidy Espinoza ran a 8:25.47 eighteenth place. In the women's 800, Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 3:03.35 for twelfth place, Marcela Valladares ran a 3:20.67 for thirteenth place and Mileidy Espinoza ran a 3:26.03 for fourteenth place. In the men's 200, Benjamin Stormes ran a 24.45 for twenty-sixth place. In the men's 400, Tavion Dickenson ran a 52.32 for twelfth place. Stormes ran a 55.51 for twentieth place. In the men's 800, Cesar Rodriguez ran a 2:02.52 for fifteenth place and Colby Dorecly ran a 2:21.46 twenty-sixth place. In the men's 1500, Coby Dorcely ran a 4:56.25 for twenty-fifth. In the men's 5000, Miguel Angel Quisquina Saloj ran a 17:58.52 for twelfth place. In the men's 10000, Miguel Angel Quisquina Saloj ran a 37:28.14 for ninth place. In the men's 3000 steeplechase, Nathan Rankin ran a 10:59.69 for sixth place. The men's 4x400 team set a school record running a 3:35.28 for seventh. The relay consisted of Stormes, Dickenson, Andrew Duncan and Rodriguez.
