Carroll County – AR issued the following announcement on April 24.
Pull the weeds and spread the seeds because NWA is about to be in full bloom! No more snow days, hopefully!
It’s Spring! The days are generally warmer and certainly longer. Time to get back out and enjoy the outdoors in all our favorite ways!
One of the many things to look forward to each Spring is a Rogers’ long-time favorite, Susie Q’s. The little malt shop on 2nd St. in the downtown area of Rogers hails from a bygone era and has been in business since 1960! https://visitrogersarkansas.com/.../experience-history...
They close for a winter hiatus from the last Saturday in October until around the 2nd Wednesday in February each year, but they’ve re-opened for all that dairy-bar goodness.
It’s just another little thing to look forward to after the colder months.
Those pesky rainy days of April will still be in the mix. Did you know that the Rogers Public Library will allow you to check out or stream thousands of offerings using the “Hoopla” online service?
https://www.hoopladigital.com/ https://rogerspubliclibrary.org/ All you need to do is become a member of the library.
Ride the ORT-On-Demand Transit (ODT) service for zero charge to these destinations this weekend. Always confirm transit routes within the timeframe of your entertainment choices. ODT allows a rider to schedule trips from bus stop or address to a bus stop or address using the App on one’s smart phone.
