Subiaco Abbey – Subiaco issued the following announcement on April 7.
BENEDICTINE MONKS are one of the few religious orders in the Church (and certainly the first) where the monks take a vow of stability. At Subiaco, we are blessed with a home of almost 1,500 acres, of which about 500 are wooded or lake areas. Our primary apostolate of Subiaco Academy is our all-boys College Prep Academy. While other schools have the urban environment for their home, we monks and our students are blessed to have the Ouachita mountains as our home. Our Academy has taken advantage of this unique resource and now offers the Outdoors Adventure Program developed by the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
