Subiaco Abbey – Subiaco issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
A small photo here honors the great St. Patrick day celebration in our abbey. Pictured here are (L to R): Novice Michael DeFoore wearing a green shirt with his red beard (he is the closest we have to a monk looking like a leprechaun); Br. Ephrem O'BryanEphrem O'Bryan who answered to the civil name of "Patrick" until he joined the community and received his new religious name; the statue of St. Patrick on our 4th floor formation wing; and Fr. Patrick Boland who originally carried the name Greg Boland until he was given the religious name of "Patrick" at profession (he said he did NOT need to wear green as he carries the name of "Patrick" which is enough!). Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all. UIOGD!
