University of the Ozarks Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.
University of the Ozarks freshman Yadira Rodriguez was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Women's Tennis Player of the Week, it was announced by the ASC Office Tuesday.
Rodriguez, from Kaufman, Texas, posted a 2-2 record at No 1 singles for the Eagles. She defeated Howard Payne's top player 6-3, 6-1 and won against Mary Hardin-Baylor 1-6, 6-0, 10-7. Her losses came to Hendrix and Division II No. 30 Newman.
Rodriguez and the Eagles will host Henderson State University March 16.
