THE BASICS

East Texas Baptist University opened the second half on a 11-2 run and never let the Eagles back into the game as the Tigers took a 85-67 conference win Saturday. The Tigers hit 20-of-32 (62%) in the second half to help outscore the Eagles 53-41 in the final twenty minutes. The Eagles trailed 32-26 at halftime. For the game, the Tigers hit 51 percent from the field. Kamren Roelke paced the Eagles with 20 points. Grayson Nix followed with 15 points.
