ON THE MAT
The women's wrestling team had one representative at the Hastings College Open Sunday in Nebraska. Illyuana Martinez, a freshman from Houston, Texas, had a solid showing in her first competition of the season. Martinez placed fifth overall in her weight class.
COACH GARDNER QUOTE
"We were excited to have Illyuana in her first go. She came back to earn fifth place after not feeling 100 percent. We look forward to next weekend. We will continue to train hard."
