University of the Ozarks Athletics issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.
The University of the Ozarks men's wrestling team and women's basketball team have cancelled a pair of scheduled events due to COVID-19-related issues within the Eagles' opponents.
The men's wrestling team will not compete against Carl Albert College this weekend. The women's basketball team will not play Belhaven University this Thursday (January 6). The men's basketball team will still host the Blazers at 3:00 p.m. this Thursday.
It was announced that a mutual decision was made to cancel both events.
