Boone County – AR issued the following announcement on Jan. 4.
Future Fit is a workforce skills training program developed by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) along with business and industry leaders. Offered at Northark, Future Fit is a program that places qualified individuals directly into well-paying entry-level jobs throughout Arkansas, according to the AEDC website. After passing a test, individuals leave with a certificate, badge, and their name in a SmartResume database utilized by employers designating them as trained and ready for hire.
