On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Lamar High School standout Nate Freeman’s current college team, the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.

The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their second matchup against the Savage Storm this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
