On Friday, Feb. 7, former Lamar High School standout Nate Freeman’s current college team, the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions, won 19-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.

The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their first matchup against the Savage Storm this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 12 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field against Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
