On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Lamar High School standout Nate Freeman’s current college team, the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Arkansas Muleriders.

The game took place at Majestic Park. This was their first matchup against the Muleriders this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 12 p.m. at Clyde Berry Field against Henderson State Reddies.
