On Friday, Jan. 31, former Lamar High School standout Nate Freeman’s current college team, the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ouachita Baptist Tigers.
The game took place at Majestic Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at Majestic Park against Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
