On Friday, March 7, former Mansfield High School standout Alyson Edwards’ current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Farris Fields Complex. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Farris Fields Complex against Illinois State Redbirds.
