On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Lamar High School standout Nate Freeman’s current college team, the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.

The game took place at Mike Metheny Field. This was their third matchup against the Savage Storm this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Crowder Field against William Jewell Cardinals.
