Did you see the KY3 program on the Berryville area? So great!

We’re getting questions already about Spencer’s Adventures piece on his visit to our trail system and historic Johnson Spring up on Pension Mountain.

The BCC has a printed brochure with a map of the trail system and directions to the parking lot. Copies are located at our front desk and at City Hall- or access the printable version of the location and trail maps here:

The green routes are meant for “wheels”– ATVs and bicycles, etc. The red ones are for feet– hikers only, and as you can see, are quite steep in spots. Historic Johnson Spring can only be accessed on foot.

Please remember that hiking in the Ozarks requires protection from ticks, chiggers, and keeping an eye out for snakes. Bring water to drink and enjoy! It’s a beautiful, secluded spot with some really gorgeous views and rock formations.
